Why DiJo

Most note-taking apps want to be a platform. DiJo wants to be a notebook — bounded, quiet, and entirely yours.

What's inside

Few features, made well.

Everything paper does, plus the handful of things paper can't. Nothing more.

Pressure-sensitive ink

Apple Pencil renders every stroke exactly as hard as you draw it. Four pen sizes, a highlighter, an eraser, and a built-in ruler.

Three classic pages

Dot grid, ruled, or blank — in A5 and A6, at near-actual-size proportions. 251 pages to a notebook.

Tap-to-jump index

A topic index with page references and ranges. Tap an entry and land on the page. No flipping, no search box.

A real page turn

The A6 landscape spread lifts only the inner page over the spine — the way a real notebook turns, not stretched or faked.

Locked to your iPad

Each notebook can sit behind Face ID or your passcode. More private than a paper notebook left on a desk.

A shelf of your own

Build a library of notebooks. Per-page undo and redo that's never destructive. Export any page as PDF or image.

Privacy by architecture

Your notes never leave your iPad.

This isn't a privacy policy. It's how the app is built. There is no server for your words to travel to.

One price, once

Questions

Good to know.

Does DiJo sync between my devices?

No — and that's deliberate. DiJo keeps your notebooks on the iPad they were made on. If you want a safety copy, you can turn on optional iCloud Drive backup, which stays inside your own iCloud account. Nothing passes through a DiJo server, because there isn't one.

What happens to my notes if I change iPad?

If you use the optional iCloud Drive backup, restoring your new iPad from an iCloud backup brings your notebooks with it. Your data follows your Apple account — not DiJo.

Do I need an Apple Pencil?

Yes. DiJo's writing experience is built around the Apple Pencil's pressure-sensitive ink — an Apple Pencil is required to use the app.

Is there a free trial?

No trial, and no free tier with features held back. DiJo is a single one-time purchase of $5.99. You buy the whole app once and own it.

Will there be a subscription later?

No. DiJo is sold as a one-time purchase on principle. Updates within DiJo 1.x are included.

Is it on iPhone or Mac?

DiJo is iPad-only. It was designed for the iPad form factor and Apple Pencil from the first day, rather than stretched across devices it wasn't built for.
